I was brought up in Cornwall, where I first started to draw and paint. A career in Social Work took me to London for over 20 years, though in the 1980's I undertook a Foundation course at the Chelsea School of Art.

ABOUT US
I returned to Cornwall in 2000 and began to use Pastels when I started to work part time and had more time and energy to be creative again.
I work from reference photographs taken on my mobile phone when I am out on my bicycle, mostly around my local area of Lostwithiel and Lerryn, though sometimes further afield in places like Porthleven, which is near where I was brought up, and whilst on holidays in Greece.
I work at home with my pictures up on the walls so I can look and learn from each one.
I am inspired by light and colour at different times of the day, big skies, weather patterns and peaceful places.
