ABOUT US
He studied Technical drawing at College, but it was a career in Telecommunications that dominated his working life and at times it was difficult to find time for art until he took early retirement in 2014. Since then he has devoted himself to his painting.
Originally from the Midlands, he has lived in Cornwall since 1997 and, although he has no formal training in art, he has since attended workshops by such renowned artists as David Bellamy, Steve Hall, Jem Bowden and Terry Harrison.
Living on the edge of Bodmin Moor, his main inspiration comes from the rugged Cornish landscape and coastline. He also has a passion for painting wildlife which is shown in his work.
Predominantly a watercolour artist, he occasionally uses oils, pastels and acrylic.
As a local artist he has exhibited in various group exhibitions at Bude, Padstow, Tintagel and Rock.
