Carol Green
Art has been a central part of my life - as a student, professional designer, developing children enthusiasm for art, and now, coming full circle - developing myself as a painter.

ABOUT US
I have been fortunate to have had a life filled with art - always drawing as a child, eventually studying graphic design at Cornwall College of FE before working in a small design studio in Truro. Later, I retrained as a primary school teacher and was able to share my love of art with the children - exploring many different art medium - both figurative and abstract.
Now, living back in Cornwall, enjoying time to rediscover both the Cornish landscape and my love of art, I have begun to experiment with semi-abstract designs based on my ‘finds’ whilst walking along the beaches around Looe.
Also, like many other painters, I am drawn to the picturesque harbours and seascapes which I endeavour to capture in watercolour, mixed media and acrylics. However, I can’t resist sketching and painting portraits and like the freedom to explore different subject matter as well as art materials and techniques.
